Melting
Recommendations for mixing and pouring- this is a guide and you will need to test with your recipe:
- Melting temperature 70℃ – 75℃
- Fragrance oil load: between 6% to 10% – suggestion to add fragrance oil at temperatures between 60℃ and 65℃
- Suggested Pouring Temperature: 60℃ – 65℃

- Caution When Working With Wax
- Store the product out of reach of children and pets.
- Always wear protective gloves and safety glasses when handling or preparing wax.
- Use a double boiler or temperature-controlled melter. Never melt wax directly over an open flame or stovetop.
- Monitor the temperature carefully with a thermometer, and only work within the recommended usage rates and heat ranges.
- Handle heated wax with care to prevent burns.
- Keep wax away from polished, painted, leather, or plastic surfaces.
- Work in a well-ventilated space, especially when adding fragrance or dye.
- Clean up spills quickly to avoid slipping hazards.
- Individuals with fragrance sensitivities should take extra precautions.
- Keep a fire extinguisher rated for flammable liquids nearby. Never use water on a wax fire.
- Ensure every finished candle has the correct warning label before use or sale.
- Test small batches first with any new fragrance or colour additives.
