What is perfume ethanol?

Perfume is created by mixing fragrant scents, oils and compounds with a solvent or carrier known as a perfumers base. Ethanol alcohol for perfume making is the perfect solvent for a fragrance as it allows the fragrant scents to linger on your skin while the ethanol safely evaporates off. Perfume oils or compounds need to be dissolved in a carrier like ethanol in order to be turned into a liquid that can be sprayed on.
